Good morning everyone!
Just getting us started for the day. There's no news in my corner of the world. Hope Esther's cataract surgery went well yesterday and that Maryenne had a good flight to Buffalo. Lynn I think you are in the beautiful Berkshires, so hope you are enjoying that.

Good afternoon! We are in the Berkshires. A quick trip to pick up a saw at the outdoor equipment place, bring a table up here and possibly bring one back. We’ll do a couple of quick local errands here and head back to RI tomorrow. DH has a retiree lunch on Monday, we have our annual physicals Tuesday and AWednesday he is driving a friend to cataract surgery. I will take the friend for the day after check up. I hope maryenne is enjoying her time with Thomas and his family. And that Esther is recovering from her cataract surgery without any complications. Joyce, I love it when there’s a period of time without anything “exciting” happening! Have a peaceful day. Lynn |

Hello friends
The first cataract surgery is over!
I went for my follow up appointment today. The surgeon says I have 20/20 vision. However I can’t see to read without glasses. I thought that was the standard. I had an extra lens inserted to correct an astigmatism. I’m waiting to see what healing will happen over the next few weeks.
I hope Maryenne is enjoying her visit with Thomas.

1kflute , I have the lens that corrects for astigmatism. It has made a big difference for me. I noticed the biggest difference after the second surgery. The doctor said that’s because the eyes work together, so when the second one was done it made the most difference. I saw on FaceBook that maryenne was delayed in getting to Buffalo due to airline issues. I hope she’s there now.
