Esther, that's wonderful news that your cataract surgery went well. I agree with Lynn that you will likely notice the most difference after the second one.
Lynn, wishing safe travels home for you. I forgot if you were going back to RI today or tomorrow. I know you have a busy week scheduled.
Maryenne, hoping you arrived safely in Buffalo and that you are now enjoying lots of snuggles with Thomas.
It's a bright, sunny day here and supposed to be a little cooler -- only 82! Also no rain is predicted, and I really hope that prediction is true. We've had a lot of rain this summer which is very unusual. This afternoon we may get out and do some antiquing. Just looking for something to do to get out of the house. I'm not sure if I mentioned that DGS has joined his school's golf team, so now for his school he'll be playing golf in the fall and baseball in the spring. His golf team was having a BBQ fundraiser so I ordered a couple of racks of BBQ ribs. More than we need, but I always try to be supportive. I'll freeze a lot, and the rest will be today's menu so no serious cooking required. His baseball team usually also has a BBQ fundraiser, but it's normally in January I think somewhere around Super Bowl time. I'm not sure if they use the same BBQ team for both events or not, but I know the one in January usually has very good BBQ so hoping this one will also.
