Good morning everyone! Hope you are each having a lovely day!
I have been busy this morning booking another cruise for next year -- April 2024! This will be a 22 day cruise to Hawaii on Holland America, and will be in celebration of our 30th anniversary. Our anniversary is actually in May, but the cruise ships are all in Alaska then. I was nervous about booking so far ahead, but we did buy the insurance in case something happened and we could not go. At our ages (85 & 74) we aren't likely to have a 40th anniversary and certainly not a 50th, and even if we had a 40th we wouldn't likely be able to do extensive travel. So realistically speaking this will likely be our last big trip together, and we wanted it to be really special. So we're both excited about it, and looking forward to it. I was actually not sure DH would feel we should book that far ahead, but he surprised me this morning by telling me he wanted me to go ahead and book it. That's my news for the day.
