Good morning and happy Friday! Funny how Friday isn't as important now that I'm retired.
Today is my last day here. Even though Thomas didn't get sick and I've been alone every day, the weather has been so nice. I've spent a lot of time reading on the deck. If I were to stay this long again, I'd probably rent a car. There's really nowhere I've needed to go though. We went out last night for Mexican food.

Enjoy the cool weather maryenne .Safe travels tomorrow! It’s hot here in RI, but not complaining. It is summer and while we have had higher temperatures they are not as bad as many areas of the country. Not sure what we’ll have for dinner. We’ll either grill something or make a big salad. We do have some errands to run today- pay property taxes, CVS, grocery store, credit union, post office. Waving to Joyce and Esther. Have a peaceful day. Lynn |

Good morning everyone!
Maryenne, you're right that after retirement Friday is not as special anymore, yet somehow it still seems like the week is ending. Glad you've had a relaxing trip, and wishing safe travel for you coming home tomorrow. Do you have a direct flight? We find very few direct flights in and out of Memphis anymore even though it's an international airport. Ford has just made a huge investment into our area though, so I'm hoping that with all that investment as well as the satellite businesses that are moving here in conjunction to it that our flight schedules will improve.
Lynn, anything planned for you today? Will you be spending the weekend in RI or MA?
Esther, hope all is well with you. Any music activities for you this weekend?
It's blazing hot here so mostly we're just staying in the AC. Even though the house is cool, there's just something about the hot temperatures outside that makes you feel lethargic, or maybe it's just that I'm using it as an excuse to be lazy. Anyway I just can't seem to get very motivated to get much accomplished.
