Good morning--actually for all but me it's afternoon I think. I hope Maryenne is having smooth travel without any interruptions as she flies home today. Lynn and Esther, waving to both of you. It is blazing hot here, and we're just staying indoors with the AC. I'm not even cooking anything because I don't want the heat from the stove, and it is too hot for anything to sound good anyway. Also too hot to be outside at the grill. I pulled some canned tuna out of the pantry, and just mixed up some tuna salad to put into the refrigerator. That's pretty much the best I can do for a meal for us today, unless we go out. To be honest even going out doesn't sound appealing so we'll just stay inside, have our tuna salad sandwiches, and dream of cool breezes. Enjoy your day!

nashville11 , a nice cool tuna salad sandwich sounds like a delightful meal. Another tuna salad I have made is tuna Nicoise - tuna, cold sliced potatoes, olives, cold green beans on a bed of lettuce. I have had them with hard boiled eggs, too. When it’s hot out I think of salad with some sort of protein plopped on it!

I had a manicure this morning, then stopped at the grocery store quickly for a couple of things. Then home to the AC.

Hi, I'm back at my airport, waiting for my bag. DH is stopping at the grocery store so he told me to wait indoors in the AC.
