Good morning!
We are waiting for a tree guy to come and give us an estimate on removing a black walnut tree from the property here in MA. I will set up the small printer I bought for up here. It’s so nice to be able to print and copy when up here. I’ll pick a bouquet of flowers to bring back to RI.
I am scheduled to arrive at the hospital for 6 am Monday. Guess I am the first of my doctor’s patients that day. Fine with me!

Hello! Dh is making our breakfast now - bacon, scrambled eggs, and toast. It's raining here, so we're staying in. I finally finished up the Refuge board minutes and sent them out.

Lynn, I don't envy you having to have a tree taken down. In our area at least that is usually quite expensive. We'll all be thinking of you tomorrow, and hope everything will go smoothly and that you will recover quickly.

Fortunately the rain did stop yesterday about the time DGD and I finished with our pedicures. Then she chose Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch. I did ok point wise, but boy it must have been loaded with sodium as I am up 2.6 lbs this morning compared to yesterday! Next came shopping. She wanted to go to Sephora. That just opened here very recently, but her friends had discovered it. She had an app on her phone that evidently she had been studying to know exactly what she wanted. That place is not cheap! It was worth every penny though to see her excitement. She's not allowed to wear makeup yet, but she's really into skin care, etc. I'm sure she could have gotten something off the shelf at WalMart that did just as good, but it was worth every penny to see her excitement. My hope is that someday when she's an old lady with her granddaughter that she'll remember these special times and smile. They surely brighten my day! Gave DGS a Visa gift card, and he was thrilled with that so that he can spend it anyway he chooses. So despite the storms yesterday turned out to be a good day. One tenant did call and say she had a leak in the bathroom. It was around the vent, so I think probably just needs some new sealant rather than a new roof. I have someone going to check that out today. Enjoy your day!

nashville11 , tree removal is expensive! Living in a heavily wooded area, we have always set aside a budget for tree removal. It’s just preventive maintenance as far as we are concerned. The squirrels store the walnuts in our garage here and have made a total mess. The tree is going! LOL My DGDs love Sephora! They are all over 17 now, so they do buy some make up. I have only been to the one in NYC on Fifth Avenue. I use minimal make up, just lipstick mostly. I did get a fantastic lipstick there- a little splurge.
