Good morning,
Lynn, you seem to be taking the change in appointments with your usual grace.
Joyce, I'm glad DH is feeling better and that you at least had a nice lunch out yesterday. Esther, I know you'll be happy when your other eye is done. Like Lynn, I'm just using readers now, after wearing glasses since 5th grade.
Yesterday was long day. I spent Monday night at Suzanne's and we got up very early to drive to the hospital. Her procedure went quickly. It was all the prep and then recovery that took so long. We went to a Lebanese restaurant for lunch. It was about 3 when I finally got home.
Today is my super-tutoring day - the one student at East Side Library in the morning and then downtown for the TOEFL students. I've decided to have lunch at a Japanese take-out place in between the two classes.

Good morning! We’re off to do a couple of quick errands before taking our friend to her second cataract surgery later this morning. Good morning everyone!
Maryenne, I'm glad Suzanne's procedure went well. Both the Lebanese place and the Japanese place today sound very good. We seem to get into such a rut with our eating here.
Lynn, it is really nice of you and your DH to chauffeur your friend for the appointments, and I hope all will go well with their surgery.
Esther, hope all is well with you, Ruby, and as well as can be expected with Don. I know that's an ongoing challenge.
All is well here. DH is getting his crown put on this morning, and then around noon storms are supposed to move in which are predicted to last the rest of the day and into the evening hours. So it will be a quiet day at home for me. That's ok as there is always plenty to find to do, and I predict an afternoon with a book might be in my future today. I read at least a short while everyday, but today may be one of those special days when I get to curl up and read longer. Enjoy your day!
