Over 60 and still working/ Tuesday

Good morning! 

We had a nice drive back to RI yesterday. Medical appointments this week- two eye appointments for DH and my annual gyno appointment. DGS’s birthday this week with dinner at a hibachi restaurant. Things to look forward to in addition to replacing the vacuum cleaner that gave up the ghost this morning!

No medical appointments this week, although I have a hair appointment tomorrow after tutoring.

Right now, I'm off to the grocery store for a few things, before it gets too hot.

Lynn, good luck finding a good vacuum cleaner as well as with all the medical appointments. Celebration with DGS sounds like fun.

Maryenne, you are staying busy in retirement and that is a good thing. Have you missed your work?

Esther, waving to you. Hope all is going well for your second cataract surgery this week. If I'm not mistaken, I think that's scheduled for Thursday, right?

There's no news here other than it's much cooler today which is really lovely. I have laundry going, I'm working on some bookkeeping chores, and this afternoon will be chauffeuring DGKs. Both need to be picked up from school, then later take DGS to a golf match for his team at the next town over (not far at all) and pick him up afterwards. Enjoy your day!

Hello friends

I started the eye drops for my left eye today. I’m no longer used to doing it four times a day. I have to think about it to make sure I get the drops at the right times. My DS will drive me to the surgery and to the post surgery appointment the next time.

We had to skip baroque ensemble last week because a household member tested positive for Covid. I haven’t heard from them since last week so we probably will not meet this week.
