Good morning friends,
My long tutoring day has switched from Wednesdays to Fridays, so that starts today. Fortunately, I have two hours between each session, so time for lunch and an errand.

Good morning!
The birthday dinner was a great time. DGS’s two best friends joined most of the RI family and everyone had a great time.
The ultrasound showed that the blood clot is no longer evident! When I finish the rest of the blood thinners I can discontinue them!
We have had severe thunderstorms all morning, tornado warnings just to the north of us. The entire state is under severe thunderstorm alerts. Luckily nothing around here needs to be done until after the storms have passed.

Lynn, that's wonderful about the blood clot and blood thinners! Yay!! Glad the birthday dinner was a success, and be safe with all the storms around you today.
Esther, hope you are looking forward to a good weekend.
It's another beautiful day here, but warming back up. We'll likely hit the low 90s today, and then by next week be back into the upper 90s. We've enjoyed the cooler days while we've had them though. Humidity has been down as well which is even better. Yesterday I did find something to camouflage the water faucet/pump. It's not exactly what I had pictured in my mind, but it will do the job at least until I run across something I like better. It was an enjoyable time just browsing around. DD committed to playing 56 pickle ball games during the month of August to raise money in DSIL's honor for the Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma association. So she's been busy trying to get those all in. Tomorrow she's supposed to play in Tupelo, MS and it starts at 8 a.m. so she and DSIL are going down tonight. DGS and DGD didn't want to go with them as their school's first football game for the season is tonight, so they are both spending the night here with us. I'll take them to the game tonight, but I won't stay for it. When it's over they'll call me to come pick them up along with one of DGD's friends who just lives down the street. Mostly today I just have several little chores that I'd like to get out of the way. None of them are major, but just things that need to be done. Enjoy your day!
