Good morning!

It looks like a beautiful day here. It's going to be low 90s. DH is cooking pelachinka (Serbian crepes) right now. DGS has already had his breakfast and is off to play golf. DGD asked to have her friend from down the street also spend the night last night, and the two of them are still asleep. DD and DSIL should get home probably mid-afternoon.

Hair appointment this morning. After I made the mistake of thinking I could run into Marshall’s for some packing cubes. Not the weekend to do it. It seems the local kids were getting ready for school!

Hello friends

I’m two days past my cataract surgery. The eye is still blurry. The surgeon says the eye is swollen.

I had an interesting experience today. I went to the art museum at Brandeis and sat in the middle of an exhibition of Iranian paintings for quite a while. My eye opened up to the intense colors in it, mostly turquoise. The grass was so green when I went outside!

Joyce, enjoy the grandkids. I’m at the age when mine are independent and it’s a treat to get to see them.
