I have been on the phone notifying the CC companies of our travel plans and rescheduling gel injections until after my parathyroid surgery. I’ll do some computer work after lunch. Just a few household things to take care of today.

Maryenne and Esther, what are you both up to today?
It continues to be super hot here. Wouldn't it be nice if we had an outdoor thermostat that we could just set at the perfect temperature. In my dreams! I don't want the cold of winter, but it would be nice to have some fall temperatures soon. Today I am cooking soup as DH requested that. For me soup should be a winter dish. My family always ate it in the winter, and never in the summer. So it's not very appealing to me in hot weather, but he grew up where soup was eaten along with the main meal pretty much everyday. Since he requested it, I'm making it, and I always make a big pot when I do so there'll be some to freeze as well. Enjoy your day!

Lynn it’s good that you have a doctor that you like and trust. I hope the post op procedures go smoothly.
Joyce I hope your weather cools down soon. It’s been pouring rain all day here.
One of the owners here has been working with the Public Works department to track down the water leak. It may be a leaking toilet. I hope that’s all it is because we can get that fixed.
