Good morning!
Enjoying the quiet with a cup of coffee. I’ll do a few things to get ready for the San Francisco trip and probably do a few little chores around the house. DH wants to grill steaks out tonight, so a run to the farm stand for some corn is in order.

Good morning!
I've been up for a bit and painted a little, one area that I wanted to finish. I've found that standing at the easel for too long really does a number on my back, so I have to limit how long I do it. I started a new (to me) John Sanford book last night, so I may read that for a while in bed.
Lynn, I know you must be excited for your trip next week to SF. How long will you be there?
Joyce, I hope you get a break in the heat today. What kind of soup did you make?
Esther, hope you can get the leak fixed.

Good morning from hot West TN!
Next week it's supposed to cool down to the 80s, and that will be very welcome. We're going to get out and about today. There's a restaurant in a small town nearby we used to visit quite a lot, but haven't been now in probably 2 or 3 years. Also along the way there's an interesting looking shop I have always wanted to stop and browse, but somehow I never have. It's called The Farmer's Daughter. So we won't be doing anything big and exciting, but at least a change in the routine.

maryenne , We are going for a week. Looking forward to it. nashville11 , we have a lovely shop in the town to the south of us called the Farmer’s Daughter! They sell garden supplies, including statuary, Also plants, cut flowers, etc. Some fresh produce, too. They have seven different greenhouses, each with a different theme. I love the place. The owner inherited the place (a former farm) from her father. It is a wonderful, well-run business.
