Esther, glad your tenant recognized the issue with his toilet. Good luck with deciphering Donald's financial papers.
Lynn, I think this is your last day in SF, so I hope it will be an especially fun one, and have a safe trip home.
As I was typing this I heard a crash, and sure enough DH fell again. He wasn't sure why. Fortunately he wasn't hurt other than another skin tear, but this time a much smaller one. Together we managed to get him up out of the floor. He doesn't know why he fell. I'm suspicious of the shoes he likes to wear as they are slides that he just slips his foot into. So he has agreed to wear a "real" shoe. Fingers crossed that helps, as our luck for no broken bones can only hold so long.
It's a beautifully sunny day today for those celebrating, but back in the 90s. At least it's low 90s. We enjoyed the visit with step-son #2 and DGS, but we were both really tired when they left and ready for some peace and quiet. We have leftovers for today, so no real cooking. I do need to get the sheets, towels, etc washed and the upstairs bed remade. Right now they plan to come back not on Thanksgiving itself, but on that weekend. Today will be quiet, but we have a busy rest of the week then will be in FL next week. Enjoy your Labor Day!
