Over 60 and still working/Monday

Good morning! 

We drove back from MA yesterday and hit some of the worst weather we have ever driven in. There were an inordinate number of people driving with their flashers on. Is this something new? It made for distracted driving. 

I am heading off to the university to pick up stuff from the office that I will need tomorrow at 8 am o the far side of campus.

Good morning!

I've been up since about 4:45 and went outside to see the Space Station cross over. The sky was beautiful! I've been painting since then but I've put my brushes away now. My shoulder is complaining.  I'm peeved at DH so I'll just hang out with myself today.

Lynn, I first saw people driving in the rain with their flashers on the Interstate up near Atlanta some years ago. It's illegal in Florida.

I'm sure Joyce is experiencing beautiful weather at the beach. It's gorgeous here. We did go to the Refuge yesterday and saw one flamingo. The Refuge is huge so the others could have been anywhere. Esther, one flamingo blew in about five years ago on Hurricane Michael and decided to stay. A whole bunch blew into Florida with the last hurricane - we have six or seven new ones here, but apparently they're also down around Sarasota and all along the Gulf coast. Bird people seem to think they came from Cuba or Yucatan on the winds. Who knows if they will stay or go back.
