Good morning,
A quick hello because I need to leave for tutoring. Nothing else planned for the day.
My rheumatology office called and asked if I could come in Friday morning about my back. I've never actually seen the new doctor there, only the PA, so I'm curious as to what he will say/do. I'm sure it's arthritis...I have psoriatic arthritis plus some other RA type conditions, so I don't think it's a disk or anything like that.

Maryenne, I hope the rheumatologist can help your back pain. I have another appointment next week with the pain clinic at the hospital for my hips and lower back. I expect they may schedule more injections, but we'll see.
Lynn, hope you had fun playing cards last night. You and your DH seem to have an active group of friends. That's great!

Loving this fall weather, and Maryenne glad you are getting some of it too! Today will be busy, but not with anything exciting. I have several errands, and I'm on DGK duty. Also need to pick up the mums I ordered from DGS's baseball team as well as the ones DD ordered so will need the truck for that. Every year the mums they sell are huge. I ordered 2 and so did DD. My old robot vac died. It was not an expensive one, but I really liked it. I got almost 5 good years out of it, but this time went with one that empties itself. You can control it with an app on your phone. I really don't care about that feature since I'm retired. I ordered from Amazon, and it was delivered late yesterday afternoon. So today I need to learn how to set it up and use it. I love my dark hardwood floors, but they show every piece of lint, etc that drops on to them so I like to keep them vacuumed often. The robot vacs are great for that as I can do something else or even leave home while it gets the work done. My kind of appliance! 🤣 They even have a version out now that will mop for you, but I didn't get that one. Enjoy your day!

Good evening! Today I had a manicure in the morning, went a few miles north to the LL Bean store to spend some of my LL Bean bucks (Rewards for using the credit card). I got two soft long-sleeved cotton shirts and a pair of black slacks. It is in the city where DGD went to hairdressing school and brought back memories of our trips there for the low cost hair services at the school. I enjoyed wandering around a bit. I have to update my website for the university classes tonight. One more early morning class tomorrow, then the on-campus classes don’t happen again until mid-October. My mammogram was fine- just a note to have it done again next year. I hope you get some answers from the rheumatologist maryenne , arthritis pain is not for sissies! Joyce, you’ll be busy with the DGKs! I miss the mum sales that the schools used to do here. Always huge, beautiful reminders of fall!
