Over 60 and Still Working/Thursday

Good morning! I hope all of you are well.

I took a little walk this morning, slower than normal because of my back. I've actually not walked since July because it has been too hot, but now our mornings are much cooler. I wrote some postcards to voters in Ohio earlier today. Maybe DH will take them to the little post office for me. I'd like to not drive anywhere today. Also, I've cancelled both my tutoring sessions tomorrow, because I have a 9:45 appointment up in Thomasville with the rheumatologist. It's an hour drive and I don't want to have to rush to get back for my 1 pm class.

OK, enough about me. How about you?

Maryenne, sending good "vibes" for your trip to the rheumatologist tomorrow. I hope it will go well, and that they will be able to help with the back pain. I think you've said before that is a good place to shop, so just take your time and enjoy that as well.

Lynn, you're fortunate to have LL Bean so close by you. I'm always hesitant to order online from them because if it doesn't fit then it's a pain to try and return through the mail.

Esther, fingers crossed that all is well with you and Ruby.

It's going to be a lovely day here again with temps only in the low 80s. Last night we got rain, but today the sun is shining. I had to get up and go pick the DGKs up to take them to school this morning as DD doesn't get back until this afternoon, and DSIL had to leave early to work with Senior Olympics as part of his job. I didn't have to get up a lot earlier, but I did have to get dressed as soon as I got up and that is not part of my usual routine. I usually like to linger over my coffee and maybe even putter around the house a bit before i get dressed for the day. Being retired has made me lazy! Wishing you each a lovely day!
