Good morning!
Maryenne, that sounds like good news from your doctor, and it's especially good that you liked him and felt confident in his expertise. Glad you found a stool for your painting. The restaurant sounded very nice.
Lynn, enjoy your weekend in the Berkshires, and we will all be thinking of you on Monday morning. I hope everything will go smoothly. I know you will be very glad to have this behind you.
Esther, waving to you and Ruby. Hope all is well for you.
My wine and cheese social for the Women's Club went very well last night. We had a great attendance, and a lot of people seemed interested in joining the club. Most of them are in our age group, so not a lot of younger women there as we had hoped. But I think younger women now just already have too much going on. I know my own daughter couldn't possibly fit anything else into her busy schedule. Actually, I was wrong about the age of our club. I mentioned that we had been in existence 80+ years, and that was true, but considerably more than that. Our Jackson chapter of the club was actually formed in 1908! So we're 115 years old!! Oh yes, Lynn, I thought of you last night as I met a lady who moved here a few years ago from Rhode Island.
Today we're going to the International Food Fair and Festival here in town. It's an annual event here. It's usually held downtown, but this year it's being held at the Fairgrounds. It's held here in my town, but actually covers all of West TN as my town is pretty much central for that.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Good morning! We are done with the projects we had planned for here. We’ll do a little housework today, have dinner with a friend at a nearby brewery, then back to RI tomorrow. Joyce, I have found the same thing with some groups I am part of attracting younger members. I know for me I have the time to devote to some groups/projects that I would not have before I retired. The Food Fair and Festival sounds like fun- enjoy. maryenne , I am glad the rheumatologist has a plan for you! Esther, I know Yom Kippur is Monday. sending you wishes for a solemn celebration. Have a peaceful day. Lynn

Good afternoon! I could have sworn that I checked in earlier, but I guess not. I've just been doing some painting and otherwise a bunch of nothing. We're going to leave in about an hour to get our shingles shot. Fingers crossed that we don't have side effects.
Joyce, glad that the event went well. Enjoy the festival! Lynn, enjoy the rest of your visit there. Hugs to you and Ruby, Esther!

Lynn best wishes for a successful surgery on Monday. I know you will be glad to have that behind you.
Maryenne I’m glad you liked your new rheumatologist. I hope you get some relief from him.
Joyce it’s good that you got lots of potential new members. Some organizations are designed for the days when most women stayed at home. No one can afford to do that these days.
Monday will be Yom Kippur which starts tomorrow night.
I went on a river ride with the senior center yesterday. It was fun. I signed up for a foliage viewing trip to New Hampshire, but it was cancelled. Not enough people signed up for it.
