Good morning! We are heading back to RI in a little bit. I am waiting for the dryer to finish and then I’ll put away the laundry and then we’re out the door.
Low key day, just the ride home and then doing a few things to prep for the surgery tomorrow morning.

Hi Lynn, drive safely! And lots of folks will be thinking of you tomorrow, including me!
DH and I are feeling poorly today from the shingles shot. We both have sore arms, headache, and chills. He just cooked bacon and eggs, and now I'm back under covers with a book.

Maryenne, I hope you feel better soon. I did have the sore arm from the shingles shot, but I didn't experience any other side effects. So very sorry that you are.
Esther, glad that you enjoyed the river drive and sorry that not enough people signed up for the leaf viewing in New Hampshire. I would have thought that would be a very popular trip. I'd certainly enjoy it. Wishing you “Yom Tov” as you begin Yom Kippur. I hope I expressed that correctly, but if I did not I hope you will recognize the sentiment anyway.
It's just a lazy day here for us. Yesterday we did go to the International Festival. There were a lot of people there, but unfortunately it was very hot and humid so we did not stay long. Perhaps next year they'll try to schedule it closer to the middle of October. That would most likely be better weather. Our temperatures now are back into the 80s, but our humidity as come back with a vengeance so while it's not as bad as last month it's still quite hot.
Wishing you each a good rest of the day and a good start to the new week. Especially sending good wishes for Lynn tomorrow.
