Good morning!
The surgery went well. I have a decent sized scar on my neck and a sore throat, but other than that feel okay. I am off to get a blood test and then we’ll see what the day has in mind. I have a very hoarse voice- to be expected. I guess DH will be quite happy with the quiet house! LOL Thank you for the well wishes. Lynn

Lynn, I am so glad that your surgery went well! Continued good wishes as you heal, and I expect the scar will diminish with time. You must be glad to have this behind you, and hopefully this will solve some of the health issues you've had.

Yesterday I returned my almost new Keurig coffee maker to Target. It just suddenly quit working. Wouldn't even turn on. I was afraid they might not accept it as I no longer had the box or receipt. I had just gotten rid of them a few days before it died, but since I paid with a credit card they were able to look it up. Instead of getting one like I had, we went with a duo that does both the single cup pods and a carafe. A little more expensive, but will allow me not to have two coffee makers out on the counter taking up space. DH likes regular coffee and I like the flavored ones. You can bet I am hanging onto this box and receipt. This afternoon I have an appointment with an oral surgeon. This will just be a consult, and they will schedule the removal of the tooth. Tomorrow it's the pain clinic, so looks like October will end up being a busy month. I need to get all these things done before we leave on the 27th of Oct. Have a lovely day!

I had my first PT appointment this morning at 8 followed by yoga at 9:30 so my body has had a workout. I took an ibuprofen when I got home because I feel some soreness coming on. I really liked the physical therapist, Jasmine. She listened and understood and did the right things. I'm going to see her Tuesdays and Thursdays for the next couple of weeks and then we'll see.
My son John who has been in Colombia for three months is coming on Sunday for 12 days. I'll drive to Jacksonville to pick him up. He'll go back to Mexico City when he leaves here, but he loved Bogota and hopes to figure out a way to go back there.
