Good morning my friends,
Lynn, I hope you are comfortably recovering from your surgery.
I had a busy day yesterday and told DH last night that I felt like I had worked all day! Started early with PT and then to Yoga and then to the grocery store. I was physically so tired last night. Today, I've done my PT exercises, had my oatmeal, and will drive to tutoring session at 9:30. After that, to the imaging place for a whole bunch of x-rays the rheumatologist ordered. Then yet another stop at Publix to get the lettuce I forgot yesterday. Then to CVS to pick up the new statin ordered by the cardiologist, supposedly a milder one than atorvastatin. Will use it for 3 months and then have the lipid panel to test my cholesterol level.
Wishing you all a very good hump day!

Good morning! I am on course for recovery. My major issues are a hoarse voice, sore throat and a loss of appetite- that could be a hidden plus- LOL! I find it hard to eat anything that requires a lot of screwing. Good luck with the x-rays maryenne . The rheumatologist seems very thorough! I have no big plans for today but will get out for a little while with DH. It’s very cool here- 60’s. My kind of weather! The sun should be out for most of the day, too. That certainly helps. Waving to Joyce and Esther. Have a peaceful day. Lynn

Good morning everyone!
Maryenne, you did have a very busy day yesterday. Glad you like your new physical therapist, and hope you will find the therapy very helpful. It sounds like you will have another busy one today. The upcoming visit from John will be nice.
Lynn, how are you feeling this morning? I hope you are recovering well from the surgery.
Esther, waving to you.
Yesterday's visit with the oral surgeon really made me dread this, as if I didn't already LOL! He said that this tooth would not be easy because of the position, and if all goes well usually takes 2 to 3 weeks to completely heal. I did like him and felt he sounded very competent. He agreed with me that since it is not causing me any problems (it is a tooth that had already had a root canal) that it might be best to put it off until November when we get back from our cruise. My PCP has to ok the surgery, and once they get that they will call me to schedule it. Today we're going out for lunch, and then I have an appointment at the pain doctor, or actually his physicians assistant in the afternoon. I am not having severe pain now, but do have pain if I am on my feet for very long at a time such as trying to cook a meal, etc. I don't ever want to get back into the severe pain I was experiencing before starting the injections so trying to remain proactive. I don't know if they will recommend getting more injections now or something else. After that appointment it will be uber service for the DGKs which I enjoy so that will be the bright spot of my day. Enjoy your day!

Hello friends
We have finished the major New Year holidays. A friend invited me to a break fast meal for the night of Yom Kippur. I think the new rabbi is going to do well for our congregation. It was good to be at services again. I had got out of the habit since we have been closed for Covid.
Maryenne, I hope your new meds and the rheumatologist help you.
Joyce, sorry for your tooth pain. 2 or 3 weeks sounds like a long time. I wish you a faster healing.
Lynn, I hope your throat heals well and soon.
