I have another busy day, with morning and afternoon tutoring. In between, I'll grab lunch and mail a package at the UPS store. I'll do my PT exercises when I get home later this afternoon.

Maryenne, hope your tutoring sessions go well today. Are you sore today from the additional PT exercises?
Lynn, so glad you are healing. Do be careful not to push yourself too hard too soon. I know you are anxious to be up and about and more active now that the surgery is behind you.
Esther, it's wonderful that you are able to enjoy services at your synagogue again and that you like the new Rabbi.
I just realized that I never made it here to post or read yesterday. Yesterday we got our Covid boosters, so now we are fully boosted for Covid, flu, and RSV--ready to travel! 😉 Late yesterday we got some rain, but today is bright and sunny. Sadly we're back in the low 90s temperature wise, but that should be cooling down soon. Usually by at least the end of October we are breaking out jackets in the evening.
I've had an appointment or some commitment for one thing or another every day this week, so it's nice to not have anything scheduled for today. I'm going to cook a WW recipe for Pork Paprikash.
This morning when we were just settling in for coffee on the patio we heard sirens and an ambulance turned into our subdivision. Then got a text from the DGKs school, which is nearby, that there would be carpool delays something to do with a community emergency but all was well there. Turns out that this morning in my subdivision a car was driving too fast and hit a pedestrian who was out walking. It must have been very serious. They had to life flight the pedestrian out. The helicopter had to land at the DGKs school, and the ambulance carried the pedestrian to the helicopter. Scary! There are always a lot of walkers in my neighborhood, and there are no sidewalks. There's not much traffic here except mornings when people are going to work and afternoons when they are coming home from work. Normally when there is traffic it's slow. My guess is someone was running late for work this morning with tragic consequences.

Good morning! I am resting- using the heating pad for my neck. Taking the ibuprofen/Tylenol regimen for pain. I have a couple of magazines and a book to read. I have no appetite, but am concentrating on protein. I am glad that I like yogurt and stocked up last week. Joyce- that must have been scary! You are probably right about someone being late for work and making poor decisions. I hope the pedestrian is okay. Where is your next trip? Glad you have all the shots. we still need Covid and RSV. I think I’ll schedule them in the next couple of weeks. We got the flu shots before we went to San Francisco. maryenne , you have a busy day ! Waving to Esther. sending wishes for a peaceful day.
