Good morning!
I think all my chores are done, except throwing some towels in the laundry. John's flight should get in at around 6:30, so we'll leave here around 3 or 3:30. Maybe stop for a fast food supper on the way home.
Lynn, you sound like you have really improved since your surgery. So glad you were able to get out yesterday! Joyce, I'm so sorry about the tragic car accident in your neighborhood. So sad all around. Esther, hope you are having a great weekend!

Nothing big planned for today. Tomorrow I drop off the car for routine maintenance and then accompany DH to his cataract evaluation. I am feeling considerably better maryenne, resting is so important. I am taking it one day at a time and making steady improvement. Have a peaceful day! Lynn |

Maryenne, enjoy every minute of John's visit. I expect he may be hungry after the long plane trip, so stopping to get some dinner is probably a good idea. Does he fly into Tallahassee?
Lynn, the fact that you are recovering so well is wonderful news. Hope your DH's cataract evaluation goes well.
Esther, I hope all is well with you and Ruby, and that you are enjoying a beautiful fall. At least I would guess you may be seeing some leaf color now.
Here we are in October already and before we can blink we'll be saying that another new year has gone by. It's a gorgeous day here. Mornings feel like fall, but then it quickly warms up and we're still hitting low 90s. Not long though before that starts changing too. It will soon be time to start switching out clothes. I have no idea what we will do today. DD and family are on their way to Florida for the week. The kids are on fall break. When I was a kid we got out in the fall too, but it was for cotton picking and usually lasted 2 weeks although occasionally longer. I never picked cotton myself. A lot of kids did though. Lynn and Esther, I bet that sounds especially strange to you. Maryenne, I don't know about Florida. Did you ever have any school breaks like that growing up? Enjoy your day!

Maryenne , I hope John’s travels are uneventful. Will you have PT for your back?
I went to see Don today and he had taken a shower! It has been almost 2 years since he took one. He looks like a new person.
Now to sort out his disappearing clothes. I do sew on name tags . What else can I do? Any suggestions?
