Good morning! I don't have to leave until 9:30 to tutor, so I'm sill in bed and have time to get us started. I worked on the NYT crossword a bit and have my second cup of coffee. This afternoon I'll take John to get his covid booster.

We are on our way to the Berkshires shortly., Today we’ll get started on the winterizing- turn off outside water, take the AC out of the windows, wait for the guy to come and clean/service the furnace. There is a wine dinner tonight at our friend’s restaurant. We’ll come back to RI Saturday for a retirement party for two of DH’s former coworker.

Maryenne, I hope John does well with the Covid booster. Ours went smoothly and neither of us even had a sore arm.
Lynn, I love that you and your DH have such an active social life. I think it helps to have lived in the same area for an extended period of time so you develop long standing friendships. Enjoy!

Looks like it's going to be another lovely day here --cool in the morning and then quickly warming up, but minus all the humidity. This weekend, however, I think a front is supposed to move through and lower our temperatures. I have sheets in the laundry, have some bookkeeping to do, etc. so that will keep me busy today. The first of the month there is always a lot more bookkeeping with the tenants. Yesterday we had to buy a new fluorescent light fixture for the kitchen of one house. Now I'm waiting on the handyman to let me know when he can install it.

We had a good rehearsal with some new pieces today. Then I went to Michael’s for black and white paint for the front stairs. I usually do that the end of the winter. Then I paid bills for myself and for the condo association.
I hope everyone is well. Good wishes to John for his vaccination.
