Good morning from rainy West Tennessee! The rain evidently began early this morning and is to continue most of the day. It's a slow, steady rain and I think was probably needed. Our temperature is only supposed to be around 70 today also, so that's a big change. It actually feels like fall. I had planned some things to get done outside the house today not realizing it was going to rain. So now it looks like a lazy, rainy day and an afternoon with a good book. I made a big pot of soup yesterday which was very good, so that will be our meal again today. It will be especially nice on a day like today.

Good morning!
Winterizing is underway. DH is working on turning off the outside water and getting the air out of the pipes. The furnace guy will be here sometime this afternoon for cleaning.
The wine dinner was very nice last night- the food was amazing. I brought some leftovers home since my appetite isn’t what it used to be!
Enjoy your book Joyce. I love reading on rainy days, it just seems to be the natural thing to do!

Good afternoon! I had to leap up and get to PT this morning because I slept until 7, which is unheard of for me. Don't know if I've said that I love my physical therapist but I can't tell if I'm improving. I think I am a little, but it seems like driving in my car triggers my back pain. Which of course I do all the time. Speaking of which, I have to drive down to the Refuge for a meeting at 1:30 with the Education Ranger. We're working on an outdoor art event on October 14. I've got a pot roast in the crockpot for supper so no cooking tonight.
