Good morning!
John and I are in Pensacola. The weather is definitely cooler but beautiful. We went out to the beach yesterday and Fort Pickens. We had a late lunch at McGuire's Irish Pub. Today we're going to go to the downtown area and to a museum. Either for lunch or dinner we'll try to go to Five Sisters, a local legend. There are a lot of good seafood restaurants here too.

Good morning! Enjoy your trip maryenne , it sounds lovely. I have some errands to run today, then some stuff to do around the house. We went to a small retirement party for a couple of guys DH used to work with last night. It was nice to see old faces and meet some new people. Waving to Joyce and Esther. Have a peaceful day. Lynn, the retirement party sounds nice. It is always nice to see old friends and talk about memories you have together.
Esther, hope all is well with you and Ruby.
It's a beautiful day here but much cooler. It's only supposed to get up to 70 today, and this morning when we got up was 40! I turned the fireplace on briefly just to get the chill out of the air. It will warm up some this week, but I think our summer temperatures are probably over. Now we enter that period where you never know just what to wear. You need heat in the early mornings and it's shorts by lunch time. Yesterday we ran some errands so nothing exciting. We did make a trip to Sam's which is always a mistake on a Saturday. Not only were there a lot of people, but they're remodeling the store so it was like going through a maze trying to get through the store. Hopefully we won't need to go back until they're better organized again. Not sure what today will bring. Enjoy your day!

Hello friends
We have cool weather at last. I am sneezing away from the cold. Ruby got out of her bed and fell down on her way out this morning. Her arthritis is getting worse. I don’t know what I will do when she can’t walk. I have her in a harness so I can grab her from above and get her down the front stairs without falling.
