Good morning!
I'm off to tutor. Friday is my long day - one student in the morning, then lunch, then a group in the afternoon. I'll probably get home around 3:30 or 4. Then tomorrow I'll be at the Refuge from 7:30 until 3. At least I'll have Sunday off and only a quick dentist appointment Monday morning. So fair skies ahead!
Talking about children's ages -- John just turned 54 and James will be 52 in February. I just tell them we're all the same age...we're all aging at the same rate, aren't we? LOL.

Good morning! Maryenne, do all your ESL students speak the same first language or are they a mixture? Good comeback about the aging. I'll go with that!  Lynn and Esther, hope all is well with both of you. It's going to be a lovely day. Got my haircut yesterday, but that was about all I accomplished. Got a good night's sleep last night so feel much better today. Think we'll buy a new microwave today. There's one I saw online at Lowe's that we will probably go with, but want to see it in person first. It goes over my stove. My old one is 12 years old, so it's been a good one but is not going to last much longer. Anytime I use it, it constantly makes loud pops. I don't cook with it, but do use it to reheat, etc. No real news here. Enjoy your day! |

Good afternoon. The RSV vaccines are done! My Zoom work call is done! Now I am going off to buy some mums for DD. I’ll take myself for a nice cup of coffee down by the ocean. My treat for accomplishing so much today- LOL!

nashville11, my afternoon students are from Iran, China, Ukraine, and South Korea. Their common language is English, some pretty good, some not so good. We only speak English in ESL classes, so it's never necessary for the teacher to speak the native languages of the students.

Hello friends
I finally got to meet with a representative of the local Jewish funeral home. I’m going to prepay Donald’s burial next to my mother with some of the money my aunt left for him.
He is still having trouble with his clothes. They disappear. The nurse said it’s part of his disease. They think he’s throwing the clothes away. They have to find a way to prevent him from doing that.
Tomorrow is book group with my children and their friends.
