Good morning!
DD is having a fall party today- my contribution is a pan of hot apple crisp!
DGGD and I had a lot of fun yesterday. She is the kindest, sweetest little girl. I can’t believe that she is 8 years old!
Off to make the apple crisp and prepare for a busy week coming up.

Lynn, enjoy your family party today. That sounds lovely, and so glad you get to spend time with your DGGD. Is she the one that you've made fairy gardens with in the past?

It's cool, gloomy, and damp feeling here this morning. I'm going to make stuffed pepper soup I think. DH loves soup, but because of his tremor won't order it out anywhere. This next week I am going to have to make a big grocery shopping trip. I don't do that all that often, but the cupboards are getting bare of staple items. Also I hope our handyman will be able to install my new microwave this week. He has to have a helper to help him hold it up as he installs as DH isn't able to do that any longer, so we'll wait until both men can come. Yesterday I got our flight to Ft Lauderdale rescheduled. Delta had changed the flight leaving us with not enough time for the plane change in Atlanta. If you've ever changed planes there, you know you need plenty of time. Now we will leave Memphis earlier, which is fine, have about 2 and a half hours in Atlanta, and still get into Ft Lauderdale an hour earlier than we were originally so I feel much better about it.

Good evening!
I've had a very lazy day, recovering from the art event at the Refuge. It was a fantastic success! I have shepherd's pie with chicken in the oven, but it was easy...all leftovers. To.orrow I have an early dentist appointment.
