Good morning!
Looks like we all had quiet days yesterday. I did go to the ENT and had a pleasant lunch at Olive Garden. Plus dessert. Then I was full all afternoon. Dinner last night was salmon, broccoli, and mashed potatoes.
For some reason, I didn't sleep well. Woke up several times and had vivid dreams. Maybe it was too much food.
Today I'll tutor my Indian student in the morning, stop for lunch somewhere, and then tutor the group at the downtown library in the afternoon. Nothing planned for the weekend! Yay!
Hope you all are having pleasant weather. It's been quite lovely here.

Good morning!
I had to look at the time of Maryenne’s posting to make sure it was meant to be for Friday- LOL!
LONG day yesterday. DH was complaining of eye pain at the check up. Turned out to be high pressure in the eye. She did a procedure, gave him a new set of eye drops and some pills. Much better this morning, but we go back for an eye check this afternoon. She also wants to see him Monday. Fortunately I have an eye appointment Monday and he can piggy back on mine- same doctor! It turns out he has a smaller than normal eyeball and he is a slow dilator. Thus the issues.
We never made it to Mrs Doubtfire and it was late enough when DH decided he didn’t want to go that I had no time to give away the tickets- besides everyone in the family had other plans last night.
Tonight is October birthday celebration. Taco bar and chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. I sure hope someone else cooks the taco meat. I have all I can do to run a taxi service for DH! I’m glad to pick up the fixings when I am out and about, but want someone else to take charge of the cooking tonight. My kids are all out for breakfast. I am enjoying some peace and quiet here before we head to the eye doctor.
Have a peaceful day. Lynn

Good afternoon!
Maryenne, hope your tutoring has gone well today. No worries about the date!
Lynn, I'm sorry your DH is having issues with his eye after surgery. Hopefully the new drops will help relieve the pressure. Sounds like you are very busy. I'm sure one of your kids will be happy to cook the taco meat for tonight.
It's another lovely day here. Maryenne, your vivid dreams reminded me that I don't think I ever reported back about what the doctor said about DH's taking Hydroxyzine causing his vivid dreams that he was acting out. He was told to immediately stop that medication. That's what I thought was needed, but I knew DH would be more likely to take it seriously if the doctor told him than just my reading from the Internet, and rightly so. Tomorrow is my DH's birthday--his 85th!!! Wow! He was 55 when we got married. How quickly the years have gone by. We will have DGD for the day and evening tomorrow as DGS and the rest of the family will be out of town for his fall baseball tournaments. DGD is taking a Babysitting 101 class from the local hospital in the morning. She's only 12, so not really old enough to babysit, but it's good for her to have the class. She's taking it with one of her friends. So her mom will drop her off here in the morning early, I'll take her to the class, then DH and I will pick her up afterwards and the three of us will go out for a birthday celebration lunch at Texas Roadhouse. So most likely I won't make it here tomorrow, as it looks like it will be a busy day.
