Maryenne, Thomas is getting to the age to really enjoy Halloween and dressing up. Will he go Trick-or-Treating?
Esther, hoping all is well with you.
All is well here, and it looks like it will be another beautiful day -- cooler too with a high only in the mid-70s. Yesterday's low-key birthday celebration for Nick went well, and I think he had a good day. We have nothing planned for today, so we'll just take it as it comes.

Good morning!
Joyce, James and Cathleen LOVE Halloween and I understand that Thomas has 3 different costumes - a skunk, which he wore yesterday to a parade somewhere; Baksen a character in a story, and I can't remember the third one. But they go to all the parades and events in all the surround villages.
We have nothing planned for today. We left the windows open all night, so it's a little cool in the house this morning. I'm sort of working on the minutes...started the document and wrote who was at the meeting. I guess I could drag this out all day. LOL.

Happy Sunday dear friends. nashville11 , we haven’t been to this particular Thai restaurant yet. I have to check out the menu on-line. The Indian restaurant was great. I had tomato soup and chicken biryani. So good! maryenne , the little village in our town is having a parade today and a witches paddle board in the harbor. It will be crowded and I have peopled enough this week with all of the family over to visit DD1. We took DD1 to the airport this morning, stopped for the Sunday papers and a couple of things at the store on the way home. DD is clipping some branches in the yard and then he’ll come watch the second half of the football game. I have some papers to grade and a few things to do around the house. I may work out on the deck for a little while, too. Sweep up, move the plants that need to come inside to the porch, finish getting the tomato and pepper plants ready for composting. Dinner tonight is leftovers. That’s the good thing about entertaining! Waving to Esther and Ruby. Have a peaceful day. Lynn |
