Over 60 & Still Working - Monday

Good morning! Hope everyone's week is off to a good start.

Nothing new or special is happening here. I have laundry going, in fact I just heard the "ding" that it's time to put it into the dryer. It's kind of gloomy here today, although the weather forecast says no rain. Maybe the sun will shine through a little later. I'm working on getting everything organized to be packed for our upcoming cruise. We fly out Friday morning. This evening I will also be chauffeuring DGD as DD has to be out of town for work again this week. She loves her job, so I am glad I can help out so that she doesn't have to be concerned about the kids while she travels. Hopefully DSIL's car will be repaired this week. Right now he still has my car, but they missed a call from the repair shop late Friday afternoon. When they called back the shop was closed, so they are hoping it was to tell them that the car is ready. If not, we manage fine with just DH's pick-up truck, although it is nice to have both his truck and my car available.

Hello friends

I spent the weekend at a Renaissance flute workshop. I have never been so tired that I can remember. I haven’t been playing Renaissance flute since Covid so it was a stretch to even try it this weekend. I can’t always get much sound out of it which is frustrating.

I have been asked to play something for a service for Israel at the synagogue tomorrow. I’m assuming I will do better than I did over the weekend.

I’m working on scanning a permission form for Donald to get vaccines this month. I think I have figured out how to do it.

Hello friends,

Quiet day here. I finally completed the Refuge Board minutes and sent them out for review. What a job. I've got a digital recorder and I also take notes, so I've got a backup.  I went to the post office to mail a Halloween card to Thomas and return something I had ordered that didn't fit. 

It's a beautiful day outside and we have all the windows open.
