Good morning!
I slept well last night after a very busy day. My eye appointment went splendidly, no new issues. DH still has some healing to do. Patience is not his virtue and he compares his recovery to mine. Even though the doctor told him what the issues were, that they were not unusual and that he is on the road to recovery. DS is going with him to his appointment Thursday, DD will fetch me when my colonoscopy is done. Low residue diet today and tomorrow is clear liquids. This has certainly been my year for health-related issues! Luckily, most are preventive in nature and thee others are being taken care of. My agenda for today is some Cinderella chores around the house, bringing in the last of the plants on the deck, grading some papers and card league tonight.
Have a peaceful day. Lynn

Good afternoon!
Lynn, your DH must be disappointed it is taking longer for his eyes to heal. Glad the doctor felt things were moving along as expected for him. Good luck with your colonoscopy. I need to get one scheduled as well, but our PCP is retiring the end of the year so will probably wait until we get established with a new PCP and ask for a referral for it then.
Maryenne and Esther, hope all is well with both of you.
It's just been a typical day here, and yet it seems that I've been very busy--just can't seem to see a lot of accomplishment. DSIL's car repair is finished, so we will pick my car up when we take the kids home after school and baseball practice today. We managed fine just having DH's pick-up truck, but it is much nicer to each have our own vehicles available whenever one of us is going somewhere without the other. I admit that I have missed having my own car. Enjoy the rest of the day and evening!

Hello friends
I played for the group at the synagogue today and it went well. They asked me to repeat it at the end of the service.
Now the rabbi wants me to play for a Friday night service. I told him about the group I play with in another town and he liked the idea. What we didn’t get into was the amount of preparation required. We typically have two rehearsals with both the musicians and the service leaders before we play. Right now we have no idea if there is anyone interested in playing for services.
Ruby goofed today and relieved herself in her bed. It’s all washed and hung out on the porch to dry.
I have a rehearsal tonight for next Friday’s contra dance. We’re going to have a demonstration by a sword dance team at intermission. That should be fun.
Waving to all.
Esther

I thought I had posted but I guess I didn't. My day was yoga, lunch, and then rheumatologist up in Thomasville. He agreed that yoga might be helping as much as PT, so I'm going to drop one PT visit a week.
Lynn, my DH is a surly patient so I have to remind myself not to make any suggestions or ask him any questions, like "How are you feeling?" Good luck with your prep! Joyce, glad you're getting your car back. Esther, let us know about the sword dance!
