Good morning everyone!

As I expect all of you are, I am horrified about the shootings in Maine, and angry that we don't get serious about ending this senseless violence. Today I will be doing all the last minute things for our trip. Are any of you like me and think you have to give the house a quick cleaning before leaving? I think that may be something I inherited from my mom. It has to be "company" ready or I just can't leave. Got a message early this morning from DD. Her last meeting today is going to end later than she had expected, so I am on DGD duty this afternoon and evening. We will fly out of Memphis to Ft Lauderdale tomorrow morning, and then board the Eurodam for our cruise on Saturday. We should be back at home the night of November 8.

Joyce, I agree with you about the gun violence. We have a huge amount in our not-very-big city/town.

When we're going on a trip, I don't worry too much about cleaning the house, but I do make sure the kitchen is clean. I hope you have a wonderful cruise!

Lynn, thinking of you today and hoping for a clear and easy procedure for you.

Esther, I'm so glad you've been able to play music lately.

My morning was busy already - my session with the PT was a little harder than usual. She told me to rest with ice or heat if I need it today because we did work with weights which I haven't done much of so far. I re-booked my appointments so I will just go one day a week - Tuesday morning before yoga, and then that gives me Thursday morning for another yoga class, a Zoom one by my regular teacher.

After PT, I stopped at a local place called Fresh Roots and had breakfast, then walked around Marshall's, Michael's and Ross, then mailed a package at the PO, and then got gas. I'm ready to rest a bit now.

Just a quick hello. Procedure went smoothly, tow tiny polys removed and biopsies. If they are negative, it’s five years before the next one. DH got the clear for driving today, his eye is healing nicely. I am off for a quick nap before we head out for a birthday dinner for DH. Have a peaceful evening. Lynn
