Joyce is on her way to Fort Lauderdale via Memphis. Wishing you a good trip! Lynn, hope you've recovered from your procedure yesterday and hear back soon about the biopsies. Esther, music plans this weekend?
DH left me half of an avocado which I'm eating now. I'll leave in about an hour to tutor my Indian student at the East Side branch library, after which I'll grab some lunch at an Asian fusion place on my way to the downtown library. Then I'll tutor the TOEFL students for a couple of hours and then meet DH at 3:30 at the Greek festival. We have a place we park every year, so that's where we'll meet. Tomorrow I'll work at the Refuge during the Monarch Festival.

Good afternoon! We had a lovely birthday dinner last night with DD and SO. It was at a newly renovated and recently reopened restaurant, one of their favorites. DH and DS had been there Wednesday night and raved about it. I had a lovely roasted cod dish with summer squash and rice. The summer squash was done just right- not mushy at all like it sometimes is. My procedure went smoothly, I got the preliminary report this morning and should receive the biopsy results in a couple of weeks. The polyps were very small, the doctor is not etc=xpecting anything other than to see me again in five years! DH got the all clear to drive, so we came up to the Berkshires for a fast weekend. The dahlias are still blooming, there will probably be a frost next week. The plan is to pick as many as I can and share them with friends and family. We are supposed to meet up with my cousin this weekend. Then back to RI Sunday. Safe travels to Joyce. Enjoy the Greek Festival maryenne . The Monarch Festival sounds like fun.
