ermabom , too bad! The RSV was the one I had zero side effects from other than injection site redness and felt hot. Thursday credits: Weighed - down 0.2 lb. Read new posts, posted Tracked Ate sitting, mostly mindfully Body weight exercises Wrote plan for today Did some emotional eating and drinking (only one glass of wine, though) at dinner. Friction with a friend. The relationship seems to be OK today. Another close friend's husband (he was also a close friend) died while we were on our cruise. Just found out on Monday, so I'm sure that has roiled emotions too.

The book review is helping a lot so far. Yay! It's nice to have a new voice in our little Beck circle. Friday credits: Weighed - up 0.4 lb. Read new posts, posted Exercised - did mini-tramp for the first time since mid-July. I was surprised my wind and energy were OK throughout. My balance was off in a couple of places, so that inspired me to keep up with it. Tracked Ate sitting, mindfully Ended day 70 calories under plan Wrote plan for today Normally Friday is pizza night, but things have been topsy-turvey with my routine lately. A friend stopped by Thursday and I don't have much food available; still adjusting to living in cruise ship food mode, where you are tripping over food options all day long. I popped a 10" veg pizza in the oven in case she was hungry. She left before it was ready and DH and ate it instead with 1/2 bottle of white. So skipped pizza last night. But we are having 3 people over tomorrow and will have takeout pizza. Lotta pizza lately. Also, we have been drinking more than usual - 1/2 bottles, so only a glass each but still... We are socializing and scheduling much more travel than I am used to and I have background anxiety most of the time. I test 97% introvert on the Myers Briggs test.

Nov 4 credits: I had to go to an annual dinner for an org that I'm a member of. I usually skip it but decided to go this year. It was fun. Food was so-so. I got a pasta primavera as a special meal because all the entree options were non-veg. I ate the vegetables and skipped the pasta. I did eat dessert. But I was wired when I came home - 45 min drive back - and I ended up eating some Halloween candy which I didn't need. I did feel a bit annoyed that my dinner was basically a green salad, a roll with butter and cooked vegetables. Possibly also why I ate the candy.

ermabom, that's late. I thought I was up late when I got to bed at 11:00! It's usually lights out here by 9:30 but we had folks over and like a nut I always use the good china and crystal and then have to hand wash it. I do enjoy using the old wedding gift stuff though. Sunday credits: Weighed - down 0.6 lb. Read new posts, posted Meditated (!) Tracked, breakfast only Ate sitting, mindfully - again only at breakfast Exercised - got my 1/2 hour walk with hand weights in, in addition to my usual body weight exercises Wrote plan for today I did Satipatthana meditation which is about 23 minutes. Now I've been doing this one for a long time, so it's very easy for me to slip right back into. When our friends came over we had take out pizza, three different types, veg, regular pepperoni and "sweet/hot pepperoni". These pizzas are amazing, I have no idea how many calories were consumed. At least our guests took the leftovers with them. There were also 1-1/2 bottles of champagne, one bottle of Pauillac (red wine), cinnamon rolls. Oy vey. Gonna be some gains from all that. But it was worth it.

I put the good china in the dishwasher. It makes it easier to use it and I do. My kids don’t want it so I might as well use it and I will only use it if it can be washed by machine. I don’t have any crystal that I know about.

Oh, that's the point. I'd rather use it and not worry about the gold. It has held up so far, but we only use it a few times a year - even less after covid.
Nov 7 credits: Went for endoscopy and then had a headache and pretty much did nothing all day. Back to normal today

I guess I have ample time to hand wash stuff. In addition to the china, I have a number of things that I prefer to hand wash: a bunch cheap steak knives (that work great) but have faux rivets that come off eventually in the dishwasher, Pyrex measuring cups (the numbers fade out), Riedel wine glasses, Baccarat champagne glasses, crystal wedding gift glasses all come to mind. I've been collecting nice glassware for years - I can actually taste an improvement in taste with the Riedel glasses. Also while hand washing I appreciate each item and remember who gave it to me.
Have to break, Mr. Lani wants the computer. BBL>
Hah! Finally getting back on. DH making travel plans and then power cutting out for a nano-second requiring a call to provider to reset internet.
Tuesday credits:

I also hand wash a lot of stuff. All our pots and pans and most knives. I don't like to wash delicate stuff by hand because I am clumsy and prone to breaking them. But I do if they can't go in the dishwasher. The problem with the china is that I always take it out when there are lots of people around and I want to get it out of the sink as quickly as I can to make room for other stuff.
In any case, it seems to work and the gold hasn't faded - possibly because it is infrequent. Let's see how it goes.

Nov 10 credits: I took a rest day for exercise yesterday. It coincided with a lunch with friends where I just had some lentil soup. Came home and had a cheese stick and some crackers. I didn't like most of the options there. Read cards Logged food Used habit tracker - changed it around to track not eating sweets and meditating
I failed on both of those last two. I didn't meditate and I ate sweets after dinner.
