Over 60 and still working/ Tuesday

Good morning dear friends! 

DH is having his second cataract surgery tomorrow, so I will be tied up with him tomorrow. For today I have to stop by the university for a few minutes, then a manicure and tonight is playing cards. 

I am thinking of cutting back my university work next year. Just not sure yet, but definitely will make a decision by the end of next semester. I want to spend more time in MA and possibly traveling.

I'm still in Buffalo. Everyone has gone to work/school but James will pick me up for lunch. I'm kind of a mess today. I'll fly back home tomorrow so maybe I can sort myself out there. Thank you all for the kind thoughts.

Maryenne, it's good to hear from you. Being "kind of a mess" is certainly to be expected. That you are coping at all at this point is a huge testimony to your strength and resilience. It sounds trite perhaps, but do just try to take it one day, one hour at a time. Know that we are all here to support you in any way that we can.

Lynn, I think your thought about cutting back at the university to spend more time in MA and traveling sounds like a good idea. I am a firm believer that we need to enjoy our lives now, and not put things off until later.

Today I have my Woman's Club meeting and afterwards an appointment for a hair cut. That will pretty much take all of today.
