Over 60 and still working/ Friday

Good morning! 

Long saga of eye appointment yesterday. Low eye pressure, pressure bandage applied. Second appointment yesterday the pressure was better, told he would get a prescription for new drops sent to CVS. Not at CVS, Called the office this morning. She is off. Called her private number she gave us and waiting to hear back. I am not good at hurry up and wait! 

I need to do a few things around the house and head out for some errands. It is a sunny day and not cold so I am thankful for that. 

Thinking about @maryeen, sending gentle hugs. 

Joyce, I hope the oral surgery went well. 

Esther, sending wishes that the short walks help Ruby.

Hello all,

Lynn, I'm not good at hurry up and wait either.

I've spent today trying to sort out/close John's various accounts. It has been very tedious and I've been very emotional.

Yesterday I had a telephone session with a wonderful therapist. We're going to meet weekly for the time being.

I’m playing for a dance tonight. Took a Covid test because one band member tested positive, but my test was negative.

Finally got the meds! DH says it’s a good thing he only has two eyes because he would not go through this again.

I just made it to my computer so very late today.

Maryenne, you are very much in my thoughts. I'm so glad you've found a good therapist to help you through this process of grieving.

Lynn, did you get the medication for your DH's eyes? I hope you did and that it is helping.

Esther, enjoy playing for the dance tonight. I'm glad the Covid test was negative.

The oral surgery yesterday went well. I was pretty much out of it all day yesterday, and today also had no energy but I am doing well. I have a little swelling, and of course it's sore. I'm on a soft food diet right now, and taking an antibiotic as well as rinsing at least three times a day with salt water. But, on the good news front I haven't had a pain pill now in almost 24 hours so definitely on the mend.
