What’s on your mind — how to make kugel? This week’s Torah reading? Life goals? Prayer? We are all engaged in weight loss/weight maintenance journeys and we are all Jewish or at least interested in Judaism. We like to eat, we like to discuss. It is our goal here to provide each other support on our journeys, to share experiences, to call on our rich cultural heritage and texts, and to help each other grow spiritually.

Hi everyone, and good shabbos!
I hope that by the time I wake up tomorrow (it’s still Thursday night as I type this), some of the hostages will have been released.
Our thanksgiving day was lovely. One of the families has a 6 month old son, so it was his first thanksgiving. This is a baby who was adopted into a family who wanted him very much, so it is all quite joyful!
Any special stories from your thanksgiving day ?
Reminder: Louise is up next week, as we were just switching weeks.

Good morning everybody. Hope you are all well and SAFE! Please pray for Israel.
Re today's topic: I'm also waiting to hear about the hostages.
Our Thanksgiving Day was very nice: wonderful food, good conversation (including talking about what we are grateful for), and lots of leftovers. No particular stories, but it was good.

I got to be with my 3 month old step great granddaughter all day (she's the baby of my daughter's husband's son from his first wife) and we fell in love with each other.
My son and DIL announced to everyone they're having a girl in May. So I am in Shasha heaven! It was a lovely day

The first hostages have been released!! Mostly women and children, but also some farmworkers from other countries. I will be glad when they are all free.

Such great news from Beryl and also about the hostages.
Everything I tasted yesterday was GREAT. Brought "home" (staying at DS & DBIL's for the weekend) leftovers. Beautiful day today.
Hope everyone's day is wonderful and that we can all have shalomest of shabbats.
