Over 60 and Still Working/Wednesday

Joyce, I'm so sorry about the worry over your medical situation. I will hold you in my heart, especially in these days of waiting.

I did go to yoga yesterday and then to lunch with three others from the class. It was lovely, loving, and warm and I'm so glad I went. I also have signed up for a yoga retreat with Road Scholars next May.

I think I'm going to frame some things today. I've got laundry in our new washing machine. To me, it has too  many bells and whistles, but DH chose it. I'm sure it will be fine.

Maryenne, thank you for the well wishes. I believe everything will be fine, but I'll be glad to get a definite prognosis. I'm so glad that you were able to enjoy your yoga class yesterday and afterwards lunch with your friends.

There's no news here and about all the excitement I'm going to have today is doing the laundry which is happening now. Sometimes quiet days are good days though. It is bright and sunny out, and actually going back up to 60 today which will be nice. The only person I have left to buy a gift for is my son-in-law, and I'm still waiting on suggestions from my daughter about that. Everything else has been purchased--actually mostly ordered and waiting on delivery. I do also need to pick up a gift card for my sister-in-law, but I'll do that next time I go to the grocery as I get fuel points for any gift cards that I buy there.

Good afternoon!

I had a manicure this morning.Then a bunch of errands. Tomorrow morning I have a class at the university, then we’ll head up to the Berkshires for the weekend.

maryenne , I am glad you had a lovely lunch with your yoga friends yesterday. Where is the yoga retreat?

We’re going out to dinner tonight with our best friends. The restaurant is one we’ve been to several times. It’s in an old foundry building and has a lot of the original brickwork and huge windows. It’s nice to go someplace a little different.

Joyce, you have got me beat on the shopping. But I am way ahead of where I usually am by now. DH is always hard, but he has taken a liking to colorful socks, so I got him a seven pack of them yesterday when I was at TJ Maxx. Texas DD’s family is getting a RI specialty basket from our local grocery store’s gourmet specialty store. I will also send the kids gift cards to their favorite stores.
