Dec 11 credits: Exercised though I didn't feel like it. Yesterday got eaten up by trying to get a vaccine for India that we don't normally get! What a bunch of hoops I had to go through! I'm going to move it to 9:30 and see if that works better. Otherwise I have to find a different time.

Having a hard time fitting in exercise and meditation. If it comes down to the two, exercise wins out. Dental appointment yesterday and a somewhat time-consuming dinner recipe took the day away. Wrote plan for today

meditate - 9:30 doesn't work either. It's hard for me to fit in also. Tuesday Credits: Weighed - down 0.4 lb. Read new posts, posted Tracked Ate sitting, mindfully Exercised Meditated - 27 minutes finally. Only got it in because Mr. Lani was napping. It was pretty funny - he was calling for me to turn on the heat, (he hates getting out of the warm bed to a relatively cool room) but I couldn't hear him as I was in the basement. With his the bedroom door shut and basement door shut. So he stayed in bed and I was able to finish a lengthy meditation. Ended day 60 calories under plan Wrote plan for today I had edamame as a snack. It was great: tasty, healthy, and filling. I'll be doing that more often. DH liked it too. Comes frozen and you just nuke it for 4 min.

I think I accidentally posted on the November thread last week. Oh well. I had gotten back from visiting my brother and his family. Did great with the travels helped by their good eating habits (DSIL is lifetime WW). Between that and eating more mindfully and not snacking at nights I'm down 2.5 from the start of the month. But it's 9 pm here now and I am wanting a snack. Read cards. Want to keep the streak going.

Cyn, sorry for the loss of two of your dear ones. 💙💐 Take extra good and gentle care this season. Daily WI down 0.8 Read ARC plus more cards Read posts Meditated. I had wanted to meditate for decades and it was definitely very infrequently. With the pandemic and my increased anxiety in the spring of 2020 I began a regular practice. I meditate more days than not each week. Tend to give myself the weekends off right now. The only way I'm successful is it's the very first thing I do each day. Make a cup of green tea and sit down either with a guided one or on my own. 20 minutes feels good.

Thank you for the kind words, ermabom and beherenow . I had a lovely walkabout with Roses yesterday, so I'm 3 out of 3 days with activity for this week. Made a batch of Crockpot Split Pea Soup the other day, low in points. I did add some small potatoes in that were included in the reduced for quick sale package of veggies I grabbed at the store because I needed carrots for my soup. I love edamame and when I'm in full OP mode either it, carrots, or an apple are my go-to snacks.

Dec 14 credits: Hosted a cookie exchange at my house. Fortunately, the two men in the house consume any cookies that I make or are part of the exchange. It is a long tradition for me from the days I used to work and we had it at work. The socializing is more important than the cookies but our small group likes baking and exchanging recipes.

Thursday credits: Weight - down 0.6 lb. Otherwise the same as Wed. except: Ended day 730 calories under a wildly generous plan I made because I was eating lunch out. My breakfast was way under plan, anyway it worked out to 230 calories under my usual 1900 calorie daily plan. Meditated Ate sitting, not very mindfully after breakfast Wrote plan for today

Dec 15 credits: Yesterday got out of control schedule wise. I was going to go and work out and a friend texted me asking if she could come over. She's going to water my plants while I'm gone and needed to know how to get into the house etc. So it was important. Then SO came along and started chatting with her so she was here for 45 mins! I went out food shopping after that, and then came home and did some pre-planning for the packing. *sigh*
However, I am meditating in the am right after I wake up. Still trying to work in a meditation before I go to bed.

Weighed - up 0.2 lb. Read new posts, posted Tracked Meditated - I've been getting in 10 min. instead of 5 lately, when I'm not doing a proper meditation. I usually go about 25-30 minutes when I am doing what I'm aiming for. Ate sitting, mindfully Exercised, mini-tramp plus usual. My balance is getting a bit wonky on the trampoline. Ended day 400 calories under plan. Wrote plan for breakfast and lunch. People over tonight, it'll be another caloric blowout.

I'm not sure what I'm going to be doing today as my dad was admitted to the hospital with a GI bleed last night. Got home at 3 am. I am headed up there shortly to see what the specialists have to say. Fortunately they located the bleed last night and it is accessible without surgery. Woke up late and am going to get ready and head over. He's going to be fine but it is going to be a crazy few days.

Lots of mojo for your dad, ermabom! I'm sorry you're all having to go through this. I realized I'm doing a kind of meditation each morning when I sit in the early darkness with just the Christmas lights on and the Yule Log on tv with the music from the Nutcracker Suite playing. A nice gathering of myself for the start of the day. She has gotten her appetite back, and has been asking for food and even coming into the kitchen looking for it, which makes me very happy. Been tracking, working on small steps.

Good morning. He's stable now but has needed quite a bit of blood to bring his hemoglobin back up. Thank you for your thoughts and well wishes.
I didn't exercise or meditate but I also mostly stuck to plan and resisted a lot of STs at night when I was tired. Also during the day because I was pretty sleepy.
I'll be spending a large part of the day in the hospital but I'm hoping to get in some yoga and meditation today. Let's see.
I stopped eating sugar on Sunday and although I ate a protein bar yesterday in the hospital with sugar, I did avoid it at other times. SO asked me if I wanted ice cream after dinner - we had a very light dinner because both were too tired to cook. I said 'no' and went off to do other things. I didn't want to go to bed too early.

Dec 19 credits: Spent the whole day at the hospital so I could talk to all the doctors that are involved in his care. So no exercise or meditation.
However, I did not over eat and stayed off sugar. Got a greek yogurt and some hummus/chips in the café for lunch and came home and had a normal dinner.
Today I hope to be home sooner. But I'm going to just try to meditate as I have a lot to do at home.
Resisted STs to snack at night.
