Lynn, I sympathize with your dread about the meeting today. I hope it's not as bad as you anticipate.
Joyce, I hope you're feeling better after your injections. It's good that you know what to expect and can plan for a few days rest. Esther, hugs to you and Ruby. Is she on anti-inflammatory medication?
I woke up at 4 wide awake, so I got up and turned the coffee on and here I am. I have a 2:30 hair appointment, but I need to leave here a little earlier so that I can stop and get my hairdresser a card and a gift card. She got married since I've seen her. I missed my last appointment with her when I was in Mexico City with James, so I definitely need a root connection now. After that, I'll go to the downtown library for a potluck holiday thing for ESL students and tutors.
DH got a clean bill of health yesterday at his doctor appointment. He's very relieved. He had been seeing a terrible doctor for a number of years and I never thought he was getting good care from her. She finally retired and he has started seeing my PCP and seems to like him. He's definitely getting better care.

Maryenne, so glad your DH is getting better medical care now. As we age, that becomes more and more important.
Lynn and Esther, waving to you both. Esther have you tried Ruby on the new ramp yet? I hope that will help.
I am on couch rest. All went well,but I am achey and tired. All those steroids in my system now won't let me sleep so I just laid in bed all night staring at the clock whole my mind was whirling away. So I'll be glad when those ease up a bit and I can actually sleep again. No complaints though, as I am grateful to have this option.

Good evening! DH had a good eye appointment. Things are improving, he will stop all eye drops in a couple of weeks and will see her in Febrauary. Then he should be back on the six month schedule. My lunch meeting was great! He gave me some background information about the new assistant dean. The Zoom meeting was fine, nothing I didn’t know but there were a couple of new people and this allows everyone to be on the same page. I have 8 student teachers in the spring. I meet them Monday night. maryenne , I am glad to hear that DH’s appointment went well. A good doctor makes all the difference in the world! Hope you enjoyed the hair appointment. I love getting my hair done. I have an appointment next week and can’t wait! Will you have a little time off of the tutoring for the next few weeks? Joyce, Rest easy and let the shots take effect. Steroids are the worst thing for me as far as lack of sleep, increased appetite and hyperactivity! I understand the role they play in the healing process but . . . .Hugs to you.
