Hello friends,
I had a delicious pear with some goat cheese and a hard boiled egg for breakfast. I'm going to get dressed and go to a pottery show at a church in town and maybe the downtown market.

Good morning dear friends maryenne , enjoy your lovely day. I am baking an apple pie in preparation for dinner here tomorrow night with our sommelier friend. Meatloaf in a sugar pumpkin, DH is making a salad, our friend is bringing the wine- of course- and a starch of some kind. I may pick up some fancy Christmas cookies that he can take home with him after. I love this special winter tradition up here. Sending wishes for a peaceful day. Lynn |

Good morning everyone!
I was up and out early this morning to beat the crowds and get birthday wrapping paper for DGD. Tomorrow is her birthday -- 13!!! I thought I had birthday paper, but turned out I did not, and I like to make sure her birthday doesn't get rolled into Christmas so didn't want to use my Christmas wrapping paper.
It's rainy and windy here, but so far no hard rain. It is unseasonably warm though at 67 degrees. That's not usually a good sign this time of year, and we are under a tornado watch. Fingers crossed nothing will materialize.
It feels good to be able to be up and about again. Still some pain, but I know it will go away as it can take up to 2 weeks for the steroids to fully kick in. So I've got Alexa playing Christmas music and a big pot of chili on the stove. We'll have that today and tomorrow, and then I'll freeze the rest to pull out on a day things are busier than usual.
