Good morning,
Hope you are all well today!
It's chilly here this morning, but I need to go out and get a few things...gift bags and a few groceries. I'll wait until the sun is fully up. It rained all day yesterday, but today looks beautiful.
Hugs to you all!

Good morning! Good luck with your pursuit of gift bagss maryenne ,. I usually get mine at the Dollar store. I need to check my stash when we get home. My rule of thumb is that if it is a regular shape- like a rectangle, I will wrap it. Otherwise things like a doll will go into a gift bag. DH LOVES to wrap, so he is the chief wrapper. We are heading back to RI shortly. I have all of my papers graded. I need to pick up time sheets and teacher evaluation forms that students left in my mailbox at the university. I will do that tomorrow. I am meeting my student teachers for the spring semester in another building act=ross campus tonight. Then out to dinner with DH. We belong to a football pool at the local pub and usually go Monday nights to watch part of the game and grab a quick bite. I am not a football fan, but DH is and it’s time spent together with friends and I am learning a little about football. I like learning about new things, especially if it’s outside of my wheelhouse. Sending wishes for a peaceful day for all. Lynn

Good morning everyone! Maryenne, good luck finding your gift bags. Like Lynn, I usually get mine at a dollar store, actually I go to Dollar Tree. Nothing's a dollar anymore, but $1.25 is still pretty cheap, and it is SO much easier. Lynn, I envy you that your DH enjoys gift wrapping. Mine would not know where to even start! The first year we met I wrapped all his gifts for him for his boys. LOL! I've always hated to wrap, so that I volunteered to do that says a lot about how I was already feeling about him. Have a safe trip back to RI, and enjoy the time with friends and the football pool tonight. Esther, sorry that the weather is making things more difficult for sweet Ruby. She is so fortunate that you came into her life. I've already been out this morning and picked DGD up at school and took her home. At 1:00 I'll do the same for DGS. They are in exams this week, and so schedules are very staggered. I feel for working parents who don't have the grandparents living near. It must be very hard to juggle the schedules and get the kids picked up. We got no sleep last night as one (maybe two) of our hardwired fire alarms has started beeping again. Ugh! Our handyman replaced all the back-up batteries in all 8 of them, and replaced one unit (the one we felt was the biggest offender) completely, so I don't know what's going on with them. Clearly it seems to be beyond our handyman's capabilities so I have a licensed electrician coming this afternoon. Hopefully he will solve this problem before I go completely nuts. That sudden beeping every few minutes is driving me nuts. Wishing you each a lovely day!

Hello, I'm back. I did go to Dollar Tree for bags and tissue paper, then to Donut Kingdom for a bagel and coffee, and then to the grocery store next door. I saw a recipe somewhere yesterday for a ravioli lasagna type thing and I got the ingredients, but now I have to find where I saw the recipe. It was basically spaghetti sauce with several layers of ravioli, spinach, and mozzarella, so it shouldn't be too hard to recreate.
