Over 60 and still working/ Monday

Good morning! 

It’s raining and the wind gusts are fierce this morning. I had planned to do some errands while DH is at this retiree luncheon, but I think I will do a few things around the house instead. 

I was sad to hear about Ruby’s condition last night. Sending Esther and Ruby my prayers. 

Joyce, it sounds like you will be busy today with the little ones’ celebration. 

Maryenne, hopefully the rain has left Florida. When do you leave for the coast? I have you and DH in my prayers.

Thinking of Ruby and Esther today. The storm passed through last night and it's beautiful and sunny now.

mooselady12, we're going over there on Christmas Eve day and will come back the day after Christmas.

Hello friends

Today was a very sad day. Ruby came home last night on serious pain meds. She did manage to sleep for a few hours.
In the morning she started crying in pain again. I didn’t want her to suffer any more so she was euthanized this morning. I’m so sad. The house is way too quiet without her here.

My daughter lost power today and without the pumps in the cellar the cellar flooded. They are really upset.

We are supposed to have our Christmas Eve celebration there on Sunday. Christmas got away from me this year. I need to run around and get stocking stuffers and three birthday presents. 🎁
I have been preoccupied with Ruby’s condition.

I hope everyone got through the storm without damage.
