Maryenne, glad you enjoyed your trip to St Augustine. It sounds like a really nice getaway.
Esther, hope your Christmas with your family was lovely. I know you are missing Ruby. Do you think you will consider getting another dog?
It's cooling down here, not really cold but more normal for December. Yesterday we shopped for DH some pants and a new kitchen faucet. Got the pants, but not the faucet. We may go back out for that today after lunch. DD and family gave us one of the Google Nest doorbell cameras for Christmas so I'd like to have our handyman install that and the new faucet at the same time. The faucet I have now is that dark bronze color, but for the new one I think I'll switch to stainless with the spotshield finish. Also want to get one of the tall ones with the pull out sprayer. I have the pull out sprayer on mine now, but it's not really all that tall. So nothing exciting going on here. Enjoy your day!

Good morning afternoon!
I wrote this post and then was interrupted somehow and never posted it.
Yesterday after a delightful lunch, we fooled around at the outlet mall - walked the entire length with nothing in mind. DH bought a new pair of Crocs. Finally got home around 7:30 and after putting stuff away, I got in bed. This morning I washed my laundry, DH did his last night.
DH has a dermatology appointment at 2:30 and I have no plans at all. We've got several varieties of leftovers from our Christmas meal and yesterday's lunch, so that's what we'll eat for dinner.
Happy day between the holidays!

Joyce, I am grieving for Ruby right now. I don’t think I want another dog so soon.
Maryenne, I hope you enjoyed your shopping while you were on vacation. The only leftovers I have are sweets which I shouldn’t be eating. I just threw out a bunch of cookies.
I am going to a resort in San Diego for a week at the end of January.
We have tickets for a concert of Hawaian music. Earl grew up in Honolulu and he is a native Hawaiian on his mother’s side. I’m not familiar with that music so it should be interesting.
