HNY, folks. I managed to stress eat 5.2 lbs worth of mostly unhealthy food since 12/1. It's all gone now 🙄. (The food, not the weight.) Got out my meal planning pad-filled in today for a start. Be back tomorrow.

Switched Friday pizza night to Thursday as we are going out Saturday and don't want to be drinking two days in a row. I went well over my calorie budget Thursday. Too bad, so sad.

DH had an upper endoscopy that took up most of the morning well into afternoon. Then he was starving and we ate amazing amounts of Japanese food at a local restaurant. Who knows the calorie count.

Friend stayed overnight. Dinner: masses of Korean takeout and 2 bottles of wine with 3 people. DH and friend got up at 6 and hit the gym! Impressive.

Hello everyone, I'm back home. I was doing pretty well till about Sunday Jan 14. Starting then, I had so many dinners/lunches out plus a big festival (Jan 14-17) with special foods that It was tough to eat less. I just tasted most things and didn't go for seconds but when there are so many good foods around, even that is too much food.
However, I did compensate by not eating much on the flight back. I stuck to mostly the vegetables and skipped the desserts on the veg meals I had requested. Didn't drink enough water though and am trying to compensate for that.
I exercised a few times before I left on a mini-trip we took in the middle of my bigger trip. On the mini-trip, I walked a fair amount. Mostly stairs and hills, not distance. It was after the return from that on Jan 13 that things went a bit more calorie dense.
I need to go shopping today to stock up. I've made some plans to get more veggies in based on reading some of my cookbooks while I was traveling. Let's see how well they hold up.

ermabom, yay! Sounds like you did fine on your trip. I was getting lonely. Thursday credits: Weighed - up 1.8 lbs. Too much socializing, not enough exercising. Jan 19 credits: I was really really tired yesterday. Did food shopping, washed clothes, and that was about it.
Ate a big lunch and then nothing for the rest of the day as jet lag kicked in. I didn't sleep but was too tired to do anything except watch videos on my iPad and eventually ended up dozing as I was watching. Went to bed at 8 and got up at 5 (woke up earlier but stayed in bed in the dark). I'm hoping to do more today.

Jan 20 credits: Made salad and food so that I wouldn't be eating crackers with peanut butter and cereal. However, I was too sleepy to actually eat dinner. My eating is now skewed to the morning - I am eating breakfast (Bircher muesli) and lunch and something between 3 and 5 pm and then going to bed. This is going to have to change as my dad comes back Tuesday - I go to pick him up and will need to give him dinner.
Today's plan is to exercise and meditate and stay awake till 8 pm

Jan 21 credits: Exercised Resisted STs to eat junk food Meal prepped so I have real food in the fridge I’ve been skipping dinner because I am not hungry but sleepy at dinner time. Today I’m going to try eating dinner at 3 or 4 pm when I’m still awake and hungry. I’ve been eating carrots/hummus and drinking tea at that time, hoping to make it to dinner but it hasn’t worked. Logged food
