Esther, I am so sorry about your car accident, but glad you were not injured. Good luck getting Don approved for Medicaid.

Lynn, when will your classes begin?

I plan to get the books set up for the new year for the rentals today. That won't be hard as I just maintain a spreadsheet for each property, and since this is our 10th year I've got a pretty good system now. I may also go ahead and order our tax software as before we can blink twice it will be time for filing.

Joyce, it sounds like you have a good start to the year with getting things in place for the rentals.

maryenne , I hope you find some support in the group. Sharing a journey with others is often helpful. It has been enormously helpful for children I know who have lost their parents.

My classes start the 22nd. DH wants to see his sister some time this month, I reached out to our travel agent to see if we can meet with her tomorrow or Friday.
I have a final load of laundry going here, then we’ll pack up to drive back to RI.

Good morning friends,

My morning has been emotional, so I cancelled my tutoring session. However, I'm not cancelling a 12:30 manicure appointment because they will charge me, and I need to stop at the grocery store anyway. I also have a therapy appointment this afternoon at 4.

Esther, a couple of weeks ago I bumped into the car in front of me in line at Starbucks. Fortunately, it was a "soft" bump and my car just touched the spare tire on the back of the other car. But I did feel pretty stupid.

Lynn, I didn't know people still use travel agents!
