Good morning!
Lynn, it always amazes me to read about you and Esther getting out right after a snow fall. Here that seems so foreign as we rarely get snow and even when we do it's rare to get much so we're in no way prepared. Major highways and the Interstate get salted, but regular streets and especially neighborhoods are usually iced in as if we do get snow you can bet there is ice underneath. Be safe! I expect your streets are all plowed and cleared though. Your upcoming trip sounds wonderful and like a great getaway from the winter weather.
Esther, sorry you had to cancel the celebration but that sounds like a wise choice. Hopefully next week it can proceed and be enjoyed by everyone.

Rain is coming in for us this afternoon and night along with high winds. Starting this afternoon and all day tomorrow we are under a wind advisory--much better than snow! Now that DH's Christmas is over I will take down my decorations today. I always enjoy the house when I decorate for Christmas right after Thanksgiving, but by January I am longing for things to be back to normal.
