Over 60 & Still Working - Tuesday

Good morning!

We have rain and wind. Today is my Woman's Club meeting. I will also find out the time I have to report to the hospital tomorrow. I hope I get an early time as I want to get this over with and find out something definitive one way or the other. I am trying not to think about it as worrying won't help. It's been a long time since I have been under general anesthesia for anything. Good news is I won't feel anything or know what is going on.

New England weather is what it is. They act like snow is a major event- it’s not. It’s winter in New England. Overall the major roads are well plowed, it’;s the smaller side roads that are left for last that can be a challenge.

We have an early morning flight tomorrow, so I’ll probably post from Charlotte if there’s time.

Hello friends,

We had huge winds and rain this morning, but it passed by noon and we didn't lose electricity! A couple of things blew around the yard and DH has already been out to clean them up. Everything today was cancelled because of the storm - DH's lung scan and my yoga. So it's a day off! I made some cookies that were already frozen into balls and had a nice long chat with an old friend I used to work with.

Joyce, I hope you enjoy your luncheon and am wishing you the best for your procedure. Please keep us posted.

Lynn, wishing you a good flight! I used to hate the Charlotte airport but now I like it a lot better than Atlanta.
