Good morning friends
I am getting to the end of working with Donald’s trust. I hope I can find someone to help me with the Medicaid application. The nursing home has not responded to messages or the letter I wrote to them.
We’re going to try again Sunday to have the birthday dinner.

Esther, good luck with the Medicaid application. I am really surprised the nursing home is not responding and being helpful. Enjoy the birthday celebration this weekend. Family celebrations are so special!
Maryenne hope you have a good day ahead, and hoping Lynn is enjoying her trip.
We have wind and rain now with predictions for extreme cold and possible snow on the way this weekend or beginning of next week. I hope they are wrong about that! I am feeling much better today. Yesterday I just felt exhausted all day. I guess at 74 you just don't bounce back as quickly, so glad to feel more normal today. My throat is still scratchy and sore, but it's better too. My blood sugar came down 132 points since yesterday morning!! That had been a shock to me that it would shoot up so high. I had definitely not expected that. So things are moving back to normal here. Enjoy your day!

Good morning!
My 2x a week student has entered an adult education program so I won't be tutoring her anymore. I'll still have my Friday afternoon class at the downtown library. I know at least one of those students wants me to take them an a one-on-one but I'm not sure what I'll do.
The new yeast worked and the bread came out good.

Good morning from Jacksonville! Today we are hanging in after a quick trip to the dollar store and maybe Aldi’s or Trader Joe’s. We have tickets to the symphony tomorrow night- me, DSIL and her DIL. DH and DN will go to a microbrewery. We may go to a hockey game Sunday but that hasn’t been firmed up yet. Joyce, I hope you continue to heal and sending wishes for good biopsy results. Esther, have you reached out to the social worker at the nursing home? They were always the responsive contacts in my experience.
