Good morning everyone!
Just waving from the snowy, frozen tundra here in West Tennessee. When we got up this morning it was 0, but we're experiencing a heat wave and it's climbed to 20!!! Still not supposed to get above freezing today, but that's better than 0! So really nothing to report from my part of the world. I have laundry going, and we'll continue to stay inside where it's nice and warm. We did get a notice yesterday that the power company is asking everyone to try and conserve electricity so as not to overwhelm the power grid. We have gas heat, however, as well as a gas fireplace and even a gas stove/oven which is not common in my part of the world. Personally, I am tired of winter and ready to move on.
Hope you each have a wonderful day. Stay safe and warm!

Hello! What a long day I've had already and will continue to have -- met a friend for breakfast at 8, tutored 10:30-noon, dropped bags off at a thrift shop, got gas, and then on my way home, a friend from the 90s called me so I pulled off the road and talked to her for an hour. Now I'm home, and I have therapy at 4, and then will meet my former consultants at a brewery in town at 5:45.
Tomorrow I have a hair appointment and I was supposed to have a root connection, but they messed up and scheduled it as a cut, so she won't have time to do the color. I wanted to get it done before my trip, but oh well. I'm also going to get "buff and polish" on my nails, where all they do is take the old polish off and put the new polish on.
Joyce, I hope you get some warmer weather soon! Lynn, enjoy your last day in Jax. Esther, hope you're staying warm.
